The article analyzes hydrocarbons accumulation in the sedimentary section of the Jurassic-Cretaceous deposits of the Kara Sea. A series of oil and gas source strata has been identified, their geochemical characteristics have been presented, and an assessment of the oil and gas accumulation potential of each of them has been given.
