Paleogeomorphical and lithological facial characteristics of main seismic facies complexes of the Neocomian in the North of Western Siberia as the basis of their geological modeling.

The article “Paleogeomorphical and lithological facial characteristics of main seismic facies complexes of the Neocomian in the North of Western Siberia as the basis of their geological modeling” has been issued in the journal “Geology, Geophysics and oil and gas fields development” №5, 2017.

The article shows the palaeogeomorphological reconstruction on the example of Uryevskoe seismic facies complex (SFC), displays the depth of the sedimentary basin, its topography within various facies zones, lithofacies characteristics of the main SFC. Partial migration of hydrocarbons from the Achimov formation to the coastal shallow part of the cross-section of SFC is possible due to the peculiarities of their structure, patterns of change in the physical and chemical properties of fluids, reservoir pressure, the degree of trap occupancy by hydrocarbons, etc.
