The Kommersant newspaper, as referred to Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation reports that Gazprom LLC is plans to drill three wells on the shelf of the Russian Arctic seas: exploration well on Leningrdsky License block and prospecting and appraisal well at Rusanovsky license area (Kara Sea), and exploration well at the Ledovoye gas condensate field (Barents Sea). Drilling is planned using the “Northern Lights” platform, which left the Kola Bay as part of a towing caravan in mid-July.
