Laboratory 3D Seismic Work on Tas-Yuryakhskoye LA.

LLC “INGEOSERVICE” has successfully completed laboratory 3D seismic survey on Tas-Yuryakhskoye licensed area in Eastern Siberia on demand of LLC “Gazprom Geologorazvedka”. During three field seasons the workscope of 1035 sq km. was completed. The results of the work are of great importance, as the gas from Tas-Yuryakhskoye deposits will be used in the future for filling the gas transportation system “Power Of Siberia”.

Tas-Yuryakhskoye area has a very complex tectonics, which in its turn is complicated by the introduction of the intrusions (dykes, sills). This feature has greatly complicated the work of mapping, allocation of objects, mapping of fluvial channels, it has also had an impact on dynamic performance.

The absolute increase in the reliability and objectivity in the selection of disturbances due to involvement of additional maps and the latest techniques can be considered as the main result of a detailed 3D shooting. Tracing them is an important task to refine the geological models of productive layers.

According to the results of the work conducted at Tas-Yuryakhskoye licensed area, the following results are obtained:

– the complex of works on the inversion transformation is made on modern scientific and technical level: pseudo-acoustic inversion, simultaneous inversion, geostatistical inversion, pseudo-logging inversion, AVO-transformation, analysis of seismic anisotropy based on azimuthal hexahedrons of  acoustic impedance.

– seismic material of 1035 sq km is processed with acquisition of a seismic hexahedron preserving the true amplitude, with pre and post-stack migration. Pre-stack depth migration hexahedron is acquired.

– the calculation of the inversion transformation is conducted, including acoustic and geostatistical inversion with the expectation of hexahedrons of acoustic and shear impedance, and density and derived hexahedrons Vp/Vs, μρ and λρ. The  hexahedron of pseudovariety is calculated. The calculation of the azimuthal hexahedron of acoustic impedance is performed.

– according to the calculated velocity-depth model, structural surface of 12 RH given disjunctive disturbances are constructed. structural maps of the overlying bed of the reservoir due to all productive horizons, overlying bed and bottom of the trap body in the interval Jureginskaya suite are designed.

– the results of the work specified contours, dimensions, and amplitude of Tas-Yuryakhskoye structure.

– seismostratigraphy, paleo-tectonic, seismic and dynamic analyses are held.

– the results of multi-attribute analysis allowed to predict the effective thickness of productive layers.

– geological models of Talakhsky, Botuobinsky, Yuryakhsky and Osinsky horizons are designed. Estimation of hydrocarbon reserves and estimated resources of gas and oil is conducted.

– the prospects scheme of Tas-Yuryakhskoye LA is conducted, with the location of recommended wells.

– recommendations for drilling production wells are given.

When performing work on Tas-Yuryakhskoye, the project software product IngeosZMap (iMAP), developed by LLC “INGEOSERVICE”, was applied. Mapping and multiattribute analysis to predict the effective thickness of Osinsky horizon are conducted with the help of the program.

Thanks to the coordinated work of the team of LLC “INGEOSERVICE ” and responsible approach to their work of every employee of involved in the project, the work on Tas-Yuryakhskoye area is delivered on time.
