Report on Komsomolskoye LA is accepted by the customer.

LLC “INGEOSERVICE” has completed the work on the study of Komsomolskoye field, one of the five biggest gas fields in Russia. The main task of the current report was to identify the prospects of gas content in the range of Nizhneberezovskaya subsuite. The report was successfully protected on the STC of the customer.

Previously, a gas deposit in the Cenomanian has been revealed within the studied area based on 2D, 3D seismic surveys and drilling data. Overlying deposit of the Senonian was noted as a potentially promising, but was not specifically studied. The study of the industrial potential in the Upper- Cenomanian deposits has begun with the objective of increasing the resource base at the fields with developed infrastructure. In this report, so as to identify the complex feature in Upper- Cenomanian sediments, correlation analysis was conducted based on GWL data, in combination with the technology of AVO attribute analysis with the construction of three-dimensional AVO crossplots.

To allocate prospective areas, the technology of three-dimensional AVO crossplots was used, applying Intercept-Gradient crossplot, where attribute Energy was used as the third variable. This technology (using our own software IngeosMap (iMap)) is used to detect anomalies of one characteristic against the other.

Paleoreconstruction conducted within the study has allowed us to establish that the formation of the modern structural geometry occurred in post-Santonian age, i.e. Novokomsomol’s’koe II elevation – structure currently increasing (Fig.1).

All the specialists of the company working on this project showed professionalism, discipline and concentration on the achievement of objectives set in the terms established by the calendar plan.
