A characteristic of the lithological composition of the Pre-Jurassic section of the Sredne-Nazym field is given. Recognition of intrusive bodies from seismic data and analysis of disjunctive tectonics have been performed. Entry of intrusion bodies led to the deformation of volcanogenic-sedimentary section with the appearance of specific faults.
The methodology and results of zoning the prospects of Pre-Jurassic section included standard-free typing of the 3D seismic cube, analysis of the interval velocities of the parametric sweep of reflections in the interval of the upper part of the Pre-Jurassic section, and integration of geological and geophysical data. The results of drilling three new exploratory wells confirmed the results based on the proposed technology for forecasting promising zones in the interval of Pre-Jurassic volcanogenic-sedimentary section.
