Characteristics of the elements of the biogenic and fluidodynamic models of naftigenesis in the section of the Kara Sea on the basis of geochemical and geophysical investigations

The article “Characteristics of the elements of the biogenic and fluidodynamic models of naftigenesis in the section of the Kara Sea on the basis of geochemical and geophysical investigations”, was published in the journal “Petroleum Geology.Theoretical and Applied Studies”. Prepared by INGEOSERVICE LLC, West Siberian Branch of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution Trofimuk Institute of Petroleum Geology and Geophysics of Siberian Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences and Tyumen Industrial University. Authors: Smirnov O.A. and Borodkin V.N.

According to geochemical and geophysical studies, participation in the processes of oil and gas formation of biogenic andfluid dynamic models of naftigenesis is reflected. In the section of the Kara Sea, oil and gas source strata are identified, and their brief description is presented. On the example of the Bazhenov oil and gas source strata, the processes of oil and gas generation are reflected. On the basis of 3D seismic exploration activity, channels with a depth of hydrocarbon migration are demonstrated, participation in the processes of oil and gas formation and a fluid dynamic model of naftigenesis are shown.
