The company “INGEOSERVIСE” has put into operation a new cluster of 20 nodes out of 560 cores, which will increase performance by at least 20-30%, the network speed by 5 times. Each node in the cluster has 28 high-performance cores, 512 GB RAM, 4 TB of local disk and high-speed network interface Infiniband FDR 56 GB/s.
New high-performance system is designed primarily to solve problems of temporary and depth migration pre-stack and has showed good results of the Processing Department. For example, there is a two-times performance increase during the procedure of depth migration pre-stack Kirchhoff algorithm.
LLC “INGEOSERVICE” is included into the list of the Top 50 most powerful computers of the CIS, which is annually prepared by the research computing center of Moscow State University named after M. V. Lomonosov together with the Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Joint Supercomputer Center of RAS.
