In 2018, under the Contract with “Gazpromneft-Yamal” LLC, our company successfully completed the processing and integrated interpretation of 2D and 3D seismic data to clarify the geological features of the structure and hydrocarbon potential of the Yuzhno-Kamennomyssky licensed area.
The works were performed in full compliance with the requirements of the scope of work and the schedule. At the presented report the fundamentally new seismic model of the structure of a highly promising Paleozoic era was developed and rendered, methodological criteria for identification of complex built hydrocarbon traps (HC) were developed and realized, new promising objects and clarified previously highlighted objects were identified.
The recommendations for drilling exploration wells were provided.
In 2019, “Gazpromneft-Yamal” LLC drilled a new exploration and appraisal well and discovered new HC deposits in the Paleozoic and Jurassic intervals of the section. Prognosis parameters and geometry of the discovered HC deposits were confirmed with a high degree of reliability.
This field is a sole discovered field in the Paleozoic sedimentary deposits of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District.
